New Host Family at Danhostel Sandvig

Danhostel Sandvig’s new host family will start in January 2020.  We are Line Juhl, Peter Kronow, our daughter and Mia. We have embarked on an exciting adventure and look forward to the challenges. We are certain that the hosts at Danhostel’s other 60 Danhostels will give us some practical pointers that will benefit us. Accommodation locations in Sandvig support each other, so we are confident that we will also learn much from them. We look forward to a great experience as we work with school camps, groups, families and single travellers.

A Little About Peter
Peter was born in Herlev not far from Copenhagen. After spending many years on holiday on Bornholm, he fell in love with the island and is happy to move here. He is a trained carpenter, experienced in the craft and service industries. Peter will be the chef, chief cook and bottle washer. He will ensure that all our guests benefit from the healthy meals he will prepare and guarantee that everything else runs smoothly.

A Little about Line
I was born and raised on Bornholm and lived there for the first 22 years of my life.  I am a trained Graphic Artist and worked in Marketing for many years.  I worked as a Graphics Designer at Danhostel’s Main Office in Copenhagen last seven years.  When the opportunity to run a Danhostel arose, we jumped at the chance.  I have many years of experience dealing with other Danhostels, booking systems and marketing, so it was not a difficult choice to return to my childhood home after 15 years in Copenhagen and be host at our only Danhostel on the island.

Peter and I have previously worked in the retail industry, with service and cleaning. We are therefore ready to put our shoulders to the wheel, welcome our guests with a smile and give everyone the best experience when they stay with us at Danhostel Sandvig on Bornholm.
